Hello and thanks for stopping by my website! My name is Brooke Van Buskirk and I own Lil Creek Photo & Video. I live in Brandon, MB with my husband and our two children. I grew up in the small town of Manitou, where my passion for photography began. At a young age I would take my Mom's film camera and photograph everything I could. In my teens I received a point-and-shoot digital camera, I set out to discover my own creativity. It was in 2011 that I really started working on my craft and have fell in love with capturing moments in time for others. 

My style is a mix of posed and natural portrait imagery, filled with true to the eye color and feeling. I love to photograph outdoors or right in the home; areas my clients have a connection with, somewhere they can relate to and are comfortable. I enjoying capturing moments of children & families, taking headshots, schools and team photography. I love working with artificial lighting to really make my subjects stand out. I am a strong believer in getting the lighting just right. No matter what type of location I'm given, I know I can get a great shot for my clients.
